National Women's Health Week
May is National Women's Health Month and the week of May 12-18 marks the observance of National Women’s Health Week NWHW, a time dedicated to promoting optimal health for women. The U.S. Department of Health Services Office on Women’s Health OWH initiates this week-long event as an opportunity to educate and empower women about their health needs, especially emphasizing topics like safe sexual health, maternal mental health, reproductive health from puberty through menopause, heart health, among others.
