University of Louisville's Get Healthy Now Program Receives Prestigious Worksite Wellness Award

Kristina Doan, the communications manager for UofL's Office of Resources, and Tamara Iacono, wellness coordinator for UofL’s Get Healthy Now program, proudly accepted the Silver Worksite Wellness Award on behalf of their organization at the annual conference of the Worksite Wellness Council of Louisville held recently on May 24th.

This award was bestowed upon UofL's Get Healthy Now Program in recognition of its outstanding performance based on the criteria set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention CDC Worksite Health Scorecard. The standards encompassed several critical areas including:

Top Management Support: This encompasses an established mission statement and vision, alongside a comprehensive plan med at ongoing development and commitment towards fostering a culture of health.
